Ferric Press has been working hard to schedule a list of convention dates for the remainder of the year. We are waiting for confirmation on a few but the tentative list will include:

The Time Tunnel Toy Shows will see our books for sale at the Fantastic Comics Booth and a possible appearance by Gevaudan Artist Emonic.

While we have been trying to add on more cons, we've also been working hard on Ferrous Bloom #2. If you haven't seen it yet, check out the new page from issue #2.

This issue will continue the arc from issue #1 featuring the art of Carlos Gomez and Martin Tena with scripts by Chris Williamson. We will have updates as the project moves forward.

Once again, thanks to all of our patient fans who understand the time involved in self published work. We appreciate you sticking with us as we release our titles.

Ferric Press At San Diego Comic-Con 2013

We have our first confirmed appearance of 2013 (there will be many more, but this one is big). We will be set up in the Small Press Pavilion at SDCC 2013. If you plan on attending the biggest con on the planet next year, come by and see us. We will have details closer to the show.

Gevaudan #1 To Be Released at APE!!!!

Gevaudan #1 will be coming off the presses tomorrow morning! The Brutal Beast of Gevaudan will make it's issue #1 debut at the Alternative Press Expo in San Francisco this weekend. Alternative Press Expo - Oct 13-14, 2012.

The book is 36pgs in full color with Art By Emo "Emonic" Gonzales, Colors and Digital by Martin Hernandez Tena, Letters by Chemix Gonzales and Concept/Script/Verse by Chris Williamson.

The book follows the story of the Beast Of Gevaudan in a macabre rhyme that carries the reader through the stylized art of Emonic as he spins his take on 18th century France. The book will be offered exclusively at APE, priced at $4 for show attendees. Following the show, the book will be released on the Ferric Press Blog Shop for the rest of our fans.

FE3 at LBCC 2012

We have officially confirmed our attendance at the 2012 Long Beach Comic Con. The show is scheduled for Nov 3&4, 2012 at the Long Beach Convention Center. The guest list looks great so far and we are very excited to be back in SoCal for an end of season show. We are expecting a big announcement regarding Gevaudan in advance of the show.

Gevaudan creative team members Chris Williamson and Emonic will be at the booth. Copies of Ferrous Bloom #1 will be available.

Ferric Press at APE 2012

Ferric Press will be appearing at the Alternative Press Expo (APE) on Oct 13 &14, 2012.

We will be set up at booth #506 next to Gevaudan artist Emonic. Come by and see us.

Ferrous Bloom #1 will be available for sale at the booth as well as our remaining supply of the Gevaudan preview ashcans. This will be the last chance to snag one before issue #1 is printed later this year.

Well you're in luck.

We just launched a Shop section on the blog. Simply click the 'Shop' tab at the top of the page and take a look through our wares. We will be loading it up with all of our title releases as well as cool collectors items like signed books, prints, art, etc.

Gevaudan Update

After a lengthy hiatus, we are happy to report that Gevaudan is back on track and nearing the completion of the pencil phase for book #1. The goal is to release a 3 chapter (27 story pages) Issue #1 in the first week of November 2012. Keep your eyes peeled for more updates as we approach the release date for the first book.

If you haven't been following us to this point, Gevaudan is a concept inspired by the historical events surrounding the French beast of Gevaudan. A macabre rhyme of sepulchral churchyards, labyrinthine woods, and supernatural beasts, the book will be presented in short chapters, by graphic artist Emonic with an overlay of verse by writer Chris Williamson.

It's Comic Con Time!

What's that? You're wondering where are first issue is? It's right here of course! Hot off the printer! You also would like to know how to be one of the first people to get one? You sure have a lot of questions... Well if you must know, If you're going to be in San Diego this coming week for a little thing called COMIC CON! We wil be slingin' these badboys at the Emonic booth all week! Drop on by, pick up a first printing, and hang out.

Time for an Update!

We here at Ferric Press figured it was about time to give you a little taste of what we've been working on in the first part of 2011.

First and foremost, Gevaudan™ is moving forward!

We are very close to finishing the first mini chapter and making it available online for our fans. It will also be available as a hardcopy mini comic with a few added bonuses for those of you willing to drop your hard earned money our way.

Chapter 2 has been written and is awaiting embellishment on the drafting table of Emonic. We're look forward to getting the book into your hands (or computer) as soon as possible.

    

We have also been very busy on a new project called FERROUS BLOOM®. A cyberpunk-ish crime book along the style lines of the old Heavy Metal masters. The project features the stunning artwork of Carlos Gomez, the colors of DG Martin Hernandez Tena (Gevaudan), and a script by Chris Williamson (Gevaudan). The book will be a nice, stark contrast to the style of Gevaudan, adding a new color to the Ferric Press palate. We hope you enjoy! More on this project will be released soon.

Ferric Press will be in attendance at WonderCon this weekend (April 1-3 FRI- SAT-SUN) at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. We will be firmly planted at table SP-40 in the Small Press area. 


Chris Williamson and Emonic will be signing and giving out a new poster from the upcoming title Gevaudan. Display pages from the book will be available for viewing at the table as well.

Radio Stars...

The creative duo of writer Chris Williamson and illustrator Emonic will be invading the airwaves tomorrow (3/30) from 4-6pm with a live radio interview discussing their up and coming title Gevaudan. In addition to talking about the book, the resident DJ Vitamin E-Man will be chatting them up about Wondercon (this weekend already!), future projects for both, and getting them to rock out. Be sure to listen in at KCRH 89.9 FM the East Bay's best variety. For those of you who are not currently blessed with a spot in the bay area, you can listen to the live stream at KCRHRADIO.com
